Kaye Smallwood

April 19, 1939 — September 17, 2023

Nancy (Kaye) Shock Smallwood went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17 2023.

Kaye was a Charter member of Fairview Baptist Church and a present member of

Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Kaye was active in UMW group, food pantry, youth Basketball Programs and sang in the Choir.

Kaye attended McMinn County High School, was trained and worked as a X-ray Technician in Chattanooga. Worked in Danville Kentucky, where she met and married Baxter Smallwood. Kaye and Baxter moved to Port Orange Florida. Baxter Passed away in Florida. Kaye moved to Etowah In 2003. She worked at Etowah Depot, and the Division of Motor Vehicles in Athens.

Kaye was the daughter of Rev. Charles and Ruth Shock who preceded her in death. Kaye's husband, Baxter, brothers David and Mark Shock, preceded her in death.

Survivors include brothers Norman and Barbara Shock of Athens, Paul (Rich) Shock and Ilene Rusnak of Reno Nevada, and several nieces and nephews.

No visitation at this time. There will be a Memorial Service at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, to be announced.

Memorials may be made to the Helping Hands Pantry 923 Ohio Ave. Etowah, TN. 37331.
