Kaye Hamilton Lambert, 85, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, peacefully passed away in her home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
After her graduation from Bradley Central High School, Kaye obtained her teaching degree from Tennessee Wesleyan University. She was a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, and husband of 66 years, Dale. They married on Aug 27, 1957. Kaye was a dedicated teacher with the Cleveland City Schools her entire career. She taught many years in the classroom and worked with wonderful teachers and colleagues over the years. Later in her career, she sought additional education, training and certification as a reading readiness teacher. Kaye then served multiple schools as a curriculum developer and worked directly with at-risk children to improve their reading skills. She remembered all of her students.
After retirement Kaye traveled extensively with her husband including many 'Great American Road trips'. She especially enjoyed spending time in Sedona, AZ and frequent visits to Edisto Island, NC.
Kaye is survived by three daughters: Lisa Stanbery, Erika Lambert, and Adelia Mosley; son-in-laws John Stanbery DDS, Robert Beaty, and Jerre Mosley; and grandchildren Alex Stanbery, Ian Stanbery (Allyson), Audrey Gilley (Jerod), and Ethan Mosley. She is also survived by nephew, Ray Best; niece, Judy Smith; nephew-in-law, Bob Kaufman; her lifelong dear friend, Joan Norris; close family friend, Dr. Matt McCartney and many more loved family members and friends.

A private service and celebration of Kaye's life will be held at a later date.
