Kathy Juanita O'Dear Howard, age 64, of Lafayette, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, at Memorial Hospital Chattanooga, TN. Born on May 20th, 1959, Kathy touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Kathy was the cherished wife of Richard Howard, affectionately known as "Trick," whom she lovingly referred to as her little man. Together, they shared a bond that transcended the ordinary, and their love was a beacon of strength and companionship.

She was born to the late George O'Dear and Kathryn Copeland McKelvey. Kathy found solace in the love of her stepfather, Bynum McKelvey, who played a significant role in her life.

Kathy's journey through life was marked by the deep connections she formed with her siblings. She is survived by her brother Robert Anderson of Florida, her sisters Brenda Martin of McMinnville and Sue Hopper of Nashville. Kathy held dear the memory of her departed siblings Lester Waldrop, Hubert Waldrop, Patricia Anderson, and Linda Arveaux.

Kathy's spirit was one of resilience, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories that reflect a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family.
