Kathy Golden

Kathy Diane Golden, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on October 16th, 2023. Born in Cleveland, TN, Kathy's vibrant spirit and unyielding zest for life left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

Kathy remained a beacon of strength and inspiration from her birthplace in Cleveland to her final days in Nashville. Her personality was truly larger than life; she was fearless, full of vitality, and had an unwavering faith in the Lord. Kathy had an innate ability to brighten any room with her infectious enthusiasm for life. She taught her family and friends to live unapologetically, embracing her motto, "Do what you want, don't care what other people think."

A woman of many passions, Kathy's love for singing and dancing was contagious. Whether she was singing a melody or moving to the rhythm, she did so with her whole heart. She also had a passion for capturing moments, often seen with her phone in hand, ensuring memories would be cherished for generations. She held a deep love for her late father, Donald Cooper.

Above all, Kathy's most profound love was for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Golden; her loving children, Justin and Madison Golden; and a legacy of adoration from her grandchildren. Kathy also leaves behind her mother, Jessie Cooper, and her sister, Susan. Her unyielding love for her children and grandchildren was undeniable, and she often expressed that they were her proudest accomplishments.

The family invites all who knew and loved Kathy to celebrate her extraordinary life at Companion Funeral Home. Visitation will commence at 1 p.m., followed by a service at 3 p.m. to honor and remember a woman who was, in every essence, a force of nature.
