Kathy Bowman

Kathy M. Bowman, 62, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday morning, November 17, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 15, 1961, a daughter of the late Cliff & Sue McConnell. Kathy was a current member of Central Church of Christ and prior to a longtime member of Eastside Church of Christ. She cared for many people as a respiratory therapist at Kindred Hospital for over 40 years in Chattanooga, TN. Kathy loved giving to others, traveling, gardening, an avid animal lover, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her father-in-law Tom Bowman.

Kathy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 39 years Dion Bowman, one brother Steve McConnell and his wife Sherrie, Henrietta McConnell, mother-in-law Jackie Bowman, brother-in-law Stacy Bowman (Heather), one niece Molly Cupp (Taylor), two nephews Houston McConnell (Beth) and Grayson McConnell (Shelby), four great nephews Owen, Maddox, Isaac and Titus McConnell, numerous other extended family members, work family, church family and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 4 pm until 7:30 pm at the Central Church of Christ located 200 25th Street in Cleveland, TN.

A service celebrating her life will follow the visitation time at 7:30 pm at the church also with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.
