Kathleen Viola Sloan

Kathleen Viola “Kate” Sloan, 44, a resident of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Friday afternoon, June 24, 2022 in a Knoxville hospital. She was born on May 6, 1978 in Parkersburg, WV. She enjoyed hiking, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Jimmy Patty and one brother Dennis Murphy.
Kate leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter Sophia Sloan and a son Logan Sloan, her mother Ruby Tanner Patty, two grandchildren Kathalaya Butts and Alayna Butts, three sisters Daisy Aguilar, Rachel Patty and Cheryl Chavez, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will have a memorial service on Saturday July 2, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Cross Roads Baptist Church located 110 Veterans Road, Sweetwater, TN with the Reverend Isaac Wood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the church.
