Kathleen Estep

Kathleen M. (Rall) Estep, age 82, of Madisonville, passed away March 31, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer.

Kathleen was born March 15, 1942, to Catherine and Charles Rall in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. After graduating from Madison High School in 1960, she went on to study at the Business School in Mansfield, Ohio. In 1960, she met her husband, David H Estep, at the Springfield Mile and they were true partners in life.

Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a tenured banker and loan officer at several banks in Central Ohio and in January of 2000, she retired from The Citizens Bank of Ashville. Kathleen was a dedicated 4-H advisor, horse trainer and coach, who also loved to ride. She was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed traveling and being with friends who became extended family.

Kathleen is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Estep Swartz (Tammy), Julia Estep Beckner (Jay), and grandchildren, Nadya, Grigs, and Mikhail Swartz, Drew Beckner, and brother Norbert Rall, sister-in-law Donna Yingst Estep, as well as many nieces, grandnieces, nephews, and grandnephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Charles Rall, husband David Estep, son Donnie Estep, brother Ronnie Rall, sister-in-law Jan Rall, brother-in-law Tom Estep, sister-in-laws Pat Ball and Anna Bower and nephew Greg Fisher.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Madisonville, TN on Thursday, April 18 at 11am.
