Katherine "Betty" Kincaid, 74, passed away on May 17, 2025. She was born to the late James E. And Dora "Katherine" Leamon on November 13, 1950 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Betty was an elementary teacher for 30 years in Bradley County. During that time, she served at Charleston, Hopewell, Trewhitt and Waterville Elementary Schools. She loved teaching, sewing, quilting, and helping raise her grandchildren. She was a devoted Baptist.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by brothers, James "Eddie" Leamon and George "Wrondle" Leamon.
Betty is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Kincaid, daughter, Sara (Josh) Brown, son, Jason (Holly) Kincaid, and her grandchildren, Tanner Morris, Libby Kincaid, Clyde Kincaid, Colt Kincaid, Micah Brown, Cecelia Brown, and Gracie Brown.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at Companion Funeral Home - The Mack Shelton Parlor with Joshua Black officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Calhoun Cemetery.
