Katherine Emilija Ashley

Katherine Emilija Ashley, 27, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on August 15, 1997 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Katherine enjoyed music, being around people and them talking to her, and giving affection and smiles to those close to her. She also loved riding in her van, and getting kisses on her cheek. Most of all, Katherine loved snuggling with her Mommy, and listening to her Daddy singing and playing to her.

Katherine is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dušan and Emilija Andrejić.

Katherine is survived by her parents, Jeff and Rosa Ashley, sister, Ella (Dejan) Ashley Cecavac, grandparents, James and Marilyn Ashley, and many other cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Collegedale Community Church with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Collegedale Memorial Park.
