Karl R. Steward

Obituary
Karl R. Steward, 56, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, in a Chattanooga hospital. Karl was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Karl was born on March 13th, 1957 in Cleveland a son of the late James J. and Wanda B. Steward. He graduated from Cleveland High School. He was employed by Bowater for 30 plus years. Karl was a huge fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and Atlanta Braves. However Karl’s most enduring quality was his “Heart of Gold”.
In addition to his parents, Karl is also preceded in death by one brother Kevin Jean Steward.
Karl leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Robbie J Steward; two sons: Brock Steward and Brent Steward & wife Lauren ; grandson Brady George Henry Steward, granddaughter McKaylee Rae Steward; brother Kenneth Steward and wife Sue. Karl is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends
The family will receive friends Tuesday night, May 7th from 4 PM to7 PM at Stuart Par Baptist Church located at 850 17th Street in Cleveland, TN. The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. Pallbearers will include Dustin Shaver, Daniel Hesson, Jody Helms, Roger White and Craig Moore.
In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Karl’s memory.
