Karin Dale

Karin Aileen (Kell) Dale passed away on March 29, 2024, in Chattanooga, TN, at the age of 69. She was born on November 25, 1954, in Chattanooga, TN and for the past 40 years lived in Wenona, Illinois.

Karin and her beloved husband of 40 + years Jimmy Dale, were previous owners of The Retro in Wenona, IL. Where they thrived in the Food & Beverage industry and were well known around town. They were known for their adventurous spirit and ability to bring laughter to those around them.

Karin had a passion for life, and the ability to make all those around her smile. Karin never went unnoticed, from her various hair color to her red lipstick, these are just a few things that made her so special.

Karin will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her sisters Kathi (Don) Peterson, Kim (Bill) Brady, brother Rusty (Diane) Kell, stepdaughter Brandy Buchanan, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her special friends Andrea & Julie.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Katherine (Kitty) Kell, father, Russell Milton Kell Jr., husband Jimmy Dale, son Eddie Blanton, and brother Tommy Kell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 20, 2024, at 6 PM at Tennessee River Place, Chattanooga, TN, to honor and remember the joyous life of Karin Aileen Dale.
