J.W. Price

J.W. Price, 94, of Cleveland, TN passed from this life into the open arms of Jesus and his wife Betty Sue on Monday April 27, 2020. He drove trucks for 37 years. He loved being outside and having all his family around him. He was a wonderful hard working man, husband, dad, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He was a member of Valley Head United Methodist Church.
J.W. was preceded in death by his wife Betty, to whom he was married 72 years, his parents Roscoe and Stella Price, brothers Herman and Don Price, 2 sisters Carolyn and Imogene Goodwin. He is survived by two daughters Sherry Norwood (Nick) and Connie Panni (David), grandchildren: Amanda Norwood-Peterson (Lenny), Nicky Norwood (Amy), Mike Panni (Ruthie) and Lisa Panni, great grandchildren: Lauren Norwood (Dakota), Emily Peterson (Dawson), Gunnar Norwood, Garren Norwood, Emma Waddel, Ada Karoline (Joseph)Bobbitt, Aidan Panni, Avery Panni, and Asher Panni, and one very special great-great grandson Liam Scott, and one brother Jack Price. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Judy Osborne Lee, Judy Hall Osborne, and Roberta Price. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
The family will have a private service and Jeff Archey will be officiating and J.W. will be laid to rest at Lee Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Valley United Methodist Church or Hearth Hospice in his memory. We would also like to thank all the wonderful people at Bradley Healthcare for their care and love for our Dad. We love them all!
