Justin Richard Leach

September 7, 1990 — April 14, 2021

Justin Richard Leach, age 30, of Birchwood, TN died on April 14, 2021. He arrived in this world on September 7, 1990 in Gainesville, Georgia. He moved to Michigan at the age of 9 months and grew up there until the age of 4 when his family and he moved to Birchwood, TN. He graduated from Sequoyah High School in 2007. Justin eventually went on to Chattanooga State Technical Community College and finished with a degree in Diesel Mechanics. Justin followed in his Uncle Vince’s footsteps and found his true passion as a Sprinkler Fitter. He received his Bachelor’s degree and became a Foreman in the profession.

Justin was witty and sarcastic. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always laughing. He had a big heart and was very protective of those around him. Justin loved anything and everything to do with the outdoors. He lived and breathed hunting and fishing. He also loved riding dirt bikes and four wheelers and going mudding in his truck. Justin’s number one joy in life was being a father to his two sons, Brayden, 11, and Mason, 9.

Justin is survived by his children Brayden Richard Leach and Mason Edward Leach along with his mother, Renee Leach and her husband Shane Collins of Georgetown, TN, his dad Paul Leach, and his wife Charlotte, both of Utica, MI, and Tommy Hutchens, as well as his brother Thomas Leach, sister Krista Leach, and step-sister Brittany Collins. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, John Vantiegham and Nellie Ann Powell, aunts and uncles John and Bridget Vantiegham, Richard and Jessica Vantiegham, Dennis and Brandie (Aunt Bee) Bales, and Candie Vantiegham, niece Anna Leach (princess) and nephew Thomas Leach Jr (baby T) along with multiple cousins and friends. Justin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Deward and Joan Merriman, grandfather Richard Powell (Papa Rich), Uncle Vincent Vantiegham, and close friend Jason Pontes.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 pm at the family’s property (known by most as “The Lake”), 2673 Brittsville Road, Georgetown, TN, where Justin enjoyed spending his time and would go when he needed peace and quiet. Visitation will start at 12:00 pm with the funeral to follow at 5:00 pm. After the funeral services, the family will proceed to the burial site at The Bales’s Family Cemetery around 6:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to a special account made for his boys at Bank of Cleveland. Donations can be made at Bank of Cleveland for “The Leach Boys” or Venmo @the-leach-boys.
