Junior Lawson Tucker

Junior Lawson Tucker, 80, of Chatsworth, GA passed away on November 24, 2016. He was born on March 18, 1936 to the late William and Hazel Tucker. Junior loved wrestling, football, and country music.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Wilma Joyce Tucker and his sister Ruth Dowdy.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory three daughters: Robin Nelson (Larry), Serena Newton, and Merrie Smith Cobble (Dale); three sons: Bill Tucker (Tabitha), Kenneth Tucker (Joann), and Danny Tucker (Tammy); brother Tommy Tucker; grandchildren: Jonathan Smith, Shanna Smith, Gail Rogers, Shaun Tucker, Logan Tucker, Jamie Nelson, Jeri Cobble, Angel Day, Amy Hall, Heather Conner, Clayton Tucker, Josh Tucker, Amber Brown, and Stephanie Miller. Junior also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren and extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday December 11, 2016 from 2:00pm- 3:00pm in the cafeteria of Chatsworth Elementary School. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
