June Mosier

June. D. Mosier, 70, a lifelong resident of McMinn County passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in a local hospital. She was born in Cleveland, TN on June 9, 1953, a daughter of Charlie & Gussie Harrod.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Gene Mosier, one great grandson Harley Eaton, four brothers Tommy Harrod, Franklin Harrod, Jimmy Harrod and Charles Harrod and six sisters Ruth Bradshaw, Evelyn Harrod, Betty Harrod, Julie Ann Harrod, Juanita Gonzales and Shirley Hicks.

June leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Darrell & Darla Mosier, one daughter Jennifer Eaton, one granddaughter Chelsee Canote (Blake), five grandsons Mark Mosier, Colby Eaton (Alivia), Nick Eaton (Hailey), Matthew Eaton and Blake Eaton (Bianca), one great granddaughter Paris Eaton, two great grandsons Sebastian Eaton and Maverick Eaton, two sisters Diane Burns (James) and Lucille Gonzales, two brother-in-laws Danny Mosier and Lowell Hicks, one sister-in-law Ester Harrod, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN with the Reverend Casey Hawkins officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 6:00 PM service time.

The interment and committal service will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the McMinn Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
