June "Gemini Red" Hicks

June "Gemini Red" Hicks a lifelong resident of Bradley County and one of the most successful hairdressers of our generation, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on November 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, William McKinley Longwith and Ruth Ann Longwith of Charleston, TN, one brother William Edward Longwith (Billy) and many sisters and brothers.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Jim Hicks, one sister Penny Smith (Glen), two daughters Brenda Elder (Randy) and Treva Bolton (Tim) and one son Denny White, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grands in which made her a 5th Generation Grandmother four times. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a host of special friends.

She retired from hairdressing after over 62 years. She was of the Baptist faith, loved gospel singing, her church, her many pets, but especially her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial be made to the charity of your choice.

A private memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
