Obituary

Mrs. June D. Johnson, 83 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County, a graduate of Bradley County High School , retired from American Uniform Company, and a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10 a.m.in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. Carl A. Smith

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, James William Disharoon and Beulah Newberry Disharoon, husband “Herk” Johnson; daughters, Sheila Gail Finnell and Linda Finnell Daugherty; sister, Louise Wallace; and a brother, Bob Disharoon.

Survivors include her son Steven Edward Finnell of Oakley, California; special granddaughter Stephanie Daugherty Goddard and husband Wade of Knoxville; daughter Sherry Ann Finnell of Greenville, TN; and her two precious great grandchildren Marshall Anderson Goddard and Chloe Finnell Goddard.

Family and friends of Mrs. Johnson will serve as pallbearers.

June was an avid reader. She cherished the time she spent with her great grandchildren, Marshall and Chloe both of which called her “Gigi”

June was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
