Julian E. "Gene" Keith

Obituary
Julian E. Gene Keith, 75, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away on Saturday morning, March 7th, 2015 in a local hospital. He was born on April 29th, 1939 a son of the late Harle R. & Annie Keith. Gene was of the Baptist faith and a member of Old Pathway Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son Rodney Keith, one sister Edith Hawkins and two brothers Arnold Keith and Wayne Keith.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of forty years Carlene Long Keith, four daughters Michelle Shrum, Julia Hickman, Janet Jenkins and Cheryl Long, eight sons Eldon Keith, Stacey Keith, Harle Little Keith, Richard Keith, Brian Keith, Darrell Kyker & Randy Ball, five sisters Stella Keith, Barbara Rickards. Vernice Pell, Lilly Shaffer and Lou McClure, five brothers Clifford Keith, Edward Keith, Clester Keith, Kenneth Keith and Gilbert Keith, twenty three grandchildren, several great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Monday, March 9th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Old Pathway Missionary Baptist Church located at 224 Rymer Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Dr. Harold Cooper and the Reverend Ray Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with his grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time.
