Judi Horne Gentry

Judi Horne Gentry, 76, passed away on March 10, 2025. She was born to the late James V and Helen Hill Horne on May 23, 1948 in Tampa, Florida.

Judi loved Hallmark movies, the beach, family vacations, and Christmas. Her "favorite people" were her dogs, Mac & Mojo. She was a wonderful caretaker of her elderly parents for 4 years. Judi was of the Presbyterian faith.

In addition to her parents, Judi is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Earnest Leonard (Len) Gentry, and her brother, Jim Horne.

Judi is survived by her children, Jesse (Susan) Gentry, Jimmy (Verrena) Gentry, Jacque (Chris) Morrow, Jason Gentry, grandchildren, Prestin and Preslee Stanifer, Jenelle and Tim Baker, Katie Hetzer, Josh, Jesse (JJ) and Jake Gentry, 6 great-grandkids, and sister, Jana Horne.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Mack Shelton Parlor with Pastor Cliff Howard officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at 2:00 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
