Judy Raburn

Judy Raburn, 73, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away the morning of Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Morningside Assisted Living in Cleveland. She was born in Glasgow, KY and the daughter of the late Samuel & Edna Boles. Judy was a devoted wife to Joe Raburn, mother and grandmother. She adored her family and loved spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe in 2015 whom she thought of as her hero, three sisters: Sue Grider, Wanda Parker and Linda Ball and one brother Samuel Boles.
She leaves behind to cherish her two children: son Jon Raburn and daughter Joan Raburn Thurmond (Todd); one sister Rachel Boles, grandchildren: Janie Raburn, Hannah Thurmond, and Taylor Thurmond; in addition to these, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the family barn located at 891 Old Charleston Road NE in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Josh Cornelius officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
The family would like to thank the staff of Morningside for the excellent care of Judy during her stay with them. She loved each of them and enjoyed inter acting with each of them daily.
