Judy Dianne Buckner Swallows

Judy Dianne Buckner Swallows, age 69 of Calhoun, departed this life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her residence. Bon on September 23, 1952 in Athens, she lived a majority of her life in Calhoun and was a member of Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church. Retired from Charleston Hosiery after 10 plus years, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, D.Buckner; mother Frances Brown; and sister, Berniece Sisson.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Donnie Ray Swallows; children, Michael Ray Swallows; Melissa Dianne Graham, and Donna Renee Goforth; siblings, Brenda Smith, Carolyn Williams, and Danny Buckner; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Judy Dianne Buckner Swallows will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Chestuee Cemetery with Terry Webb and Travis Bates officiating.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
