She was preceded in death by her husband, Cpl. Earl Houston Cleckler, parents, Sidney and Mary (Pangle) Wilson. sister, Peggy Hurst, brother-in-law, Reverend Arville Hurst, brother, Willard Crook; and birth mother Beadie Coley, nephew, Reverend James (Jack) Hurst.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving niece and caregiver, Andrea (Clarence) Wright, niece, Marcia Harbaugh; niece-in-law, Joyce (Dan) Huddleston; Cousin; Melinda (Steve) Holder, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister, Gladys (Dencil) House; and brother, Jerry Martin.
Sidney and Mary Wilson adopted Judy (Lamon) when she was 4 years old. Her sister Peggy (Lorene) age 5 started running away from the orphanage. The orphanage called Sidney and Mary Wilson and asked if they would adopt Judy’s sister as well. They adopted the two sisters and raised them in church. Peggy and Judy were reunited with their birth family siblings in 1983 by a diligent search from their older sister Gladys House. The birth mother Beadie Coley had passed away before the reunion of her younger children.
Judy spent her life working for God. She received the Lord Jesus as her savior when she was 6 years old. She was a loving wife, daughter and aunt who loved her family, friends and her church family. She had worked at John Hammond Piano and Organ Studio at Eastgate Mall teaching piano lessons and at Pruett’s Food Town on Signal Mountain. She taught piano lessons in her home music studio as well. She worked in the Music Ministry most all of her life. She often said music was her life. She loved singing. She beautifully played the piano, organ and accordion at several churches throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all of her family, friends and church family.
Pallbearers: Clarence Wright, Michael Wright, Trevor Davis, Alex Graham, Ray Wright and Joe Cronan.
