Judith Faye Hysinger “Judy” Harper, 72, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2011 in a Chattanooga health care facility.
Judy was the daughter of the late Marion Hysinger and Bonnie Murray Hysinger. She is also preceded by one brother Jimmy Hysinger.
Judy was a member of the New Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a 1957 graduate of Bradley Central High and was employed for many years with Volunteer Electric Cooperative, Cleveland State Community College, Cleveland Community Hospital, and retired from the City of Cleveland Public Works Department.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Jerry Harper of Cleveland and one son and daughter-in-law Michael Lee and Kim Harper of Chatsworth, GA. She also leaves behind three wonderful grandchildren Kylie, Melody, & Peyton Harper also of Chatsworth, GA. Judy is also survived by numerous extended family members.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 29, 2011 at 7:30 PM at the New Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian church located at 310 New Murraytown Road, Cleveland TN 37312. The Reverend John McCarty and the Reverend Paul Isom will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 PM prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Internment will be a private burial at a later date in the Murray Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
