Juanita Myers

Juanita Myers, aged 64, passed away on May 6, 2024, in Calhoun, TN. She was born on September 28, 1959, in Benton, TN, to JM and Joanne Cross. Juanita graduated from Polk County High School in 1978 and went on to earn a degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a profession she pursued for 10 years. She then transitioned to a career as a homemaker.

Juanita married JC Myers on July 5, 1979, in Ringgold, GA. The couple had five children: Tiffany Shamblin of Calhoun, Justin Myers of Georgetown, Susan Headrick of Cleveland, TN, and Theresa Lowe of Cleveland, TN.

Juanita was best known for her cooking and deeply enjoyed it. She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Shamblin, and son-in-law, Jason Shamblin, of Calhoun, TN, as well as her son, Justin Myers, and daughter-in-law, Angel Myers, of Georgetown, TN.

Juanita is preceded in death by her father, JM Cross, her mother, Joanne Cross, her spouse, JC Myers, and her son, James Myers.

There will be no services held, but a celebration of life in remembrance of Juanita's life will be held for family and friends at a later time.
