Obituary
 Our beloved mother, Joyce Spears Cotham, 83, of Collegedale, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Joyce “Mom” was born on June 9, 1929 in Alto, TX a daughter of the late John Edward and Ola Mae Spears.
She leaves here to cherish her memory four daughters: Carolyn, Jeannie, Nancy, and Laurie, five grandchildren: Jennifer, Heather, Kelcy, Savannah and April, and three great grandchildren. She also survived by three brothers Don, Gary, and Kenneth Spears and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Talge Hall Chapel on the campus of Southern Adventist University where she was assistant dean of women for three years and an associate professor of Office Administration for twenty two years. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the memorial service at Talge Hall Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in memory of Joyce to either Hospice of Chattanooga or McKamey Animal Shelter.
