Joyce Marie King

Joyce Marie King, daughter of Ora and Carl Nipper, met her Heavenly Father on July 31, 2023 surrounded by her family who cherished her dearly. Joyce was a beloved grandmother, mother, wife, aunt and friend. She resided in Bradley County for a majority of her life, and was known for her sweet nature, and loved by all she came across. Mrs. King was an EKG nurse at Bradley Memorial Hospital for over 20 years where she met her soul mate of 39 years, Paul King.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Paul King, 2 children Tamara Rae Donohoo- Starnes (Tammy or T-Rae) and Richard Paul Donohoo (Ricky or Rick), 1 grandson (Jeremy Donohoo).

She is survived by 1 sister Faye Proffitt (Earl Proffitt) , 1 granddaughter Jordan Starnes, 2 great granddaughters Ashlynn Humphrey (Gareb Humphrey) and Reecie Vaughn, 1 great grandson, Cole Donohoo, 1 great great grandson, Aiden Gordon, and 1 great great granddaughter, Scarlett Humphrey.

Joyce will also be dearly missed by her multitude of adoring nieces and nephews. However, as much as Mrs. King will be missed, all who knew and loved her are rejoicing with the reassurance that she is now in the presence of the Lord as well as her family who met Him before her.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am with Reverend Roger Nipper officiating.
