Joyce Ann King

Joyce Ann King, a resident of Etowah, went home to heaven Friday morning February 28, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Luther Lee (Bud) and Annie King of Englewood and Granddaughter of the Late Delia King (who she took care of most of her life). She worked as a CNA for Woods Home Health for many years. She always loved taking care of people. She was very loved and will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by Darrell King, Jack King, Martha (Boots King) Collins and Paul King and nephew Roy King.
Surviving brother Dale King of Etowah along with several nieces and nephews: Debbie and Jose Valadez, Darrell and Rhonda King, Connie and Tony Stephens, Jerry and Leah King, Stacy King, Barbara and Randy Preston, Michael King, Robbie and Ruth-Ann King, Tim and Melinda King, Renee and Matt Bunch, and Rebecca King-Birchfield. She had several Great nieces and nephews and Sister-in-laws: Joyce King, Jeannie King and Delinda King. Joyce also is survived by many extended family/ friends including Jake Godfrey and his family.
We would like to thank all her friends/neighbors/ Health care Physicians, nurses and caretakers/Medical services/suppliers for the love and care that was given to Joyce.
As per her wishes there will be no public visitation, but there will be a graveside service in McMinn Memory Gardens on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Tim and Robbie King (Nephews), Cory and Patrick Shugart, Corey and Logan King (Great-nephews).
