Joshua Cody Rayfield, 31, a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home. Josh had many hobbies but some of his favorite were his love for hotrods and motorcycles, playing music and basketball, as well as riding BMX. He attended Valley View grammer school and then went on to Polk County high school. He was a loving and caring person who had a great sense of humor. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Sue Smith and Wallace Vincent Dunn, N.W. and Deyette Rayfield; god-father, Ralph Ownby.
Joshua leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, David and Kimberly Rayfield; god-mother, Betty Ownby; former girlfriend, Amber Calfee; special family friends, Ricky, Gertrude, and Joey Sewell; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, and his k9 companion, Sadie.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 5, 2019 from 3-7pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held at 7pm following the service in the Chapel.
