Obituary
Joshua Anthony Blackwell, 29, a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday Aug. 20, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital. Joshua was a 1999 graduate of Bradley Central High School. He was an avid fisherman and loving father that took great joy in caring for his son Hunter.
He is preceded in death by one brother Shane Blackwell, grandparents, Kenneth Stamey, Sue Stamey, Earnest Stinnett, Wayne Fulghum, Jim Coffey, and great grandparents, Harold and Ruby Stamey.
Joshua leaves behind one son Hunter Blackwell, fiancée Laura Walden, father Tracy Blackwell and stepmother Tina, mother Patrica Stinnett Stokes and stepfather Brian, also Laura’s parent Dean and Liz Walden all of Cleveland. He is also survived by one brother Gene Bryant and two Sisters Misty Bryant and Renee’ Bryant, grandparents Brenda Coffey and Betty Fulghum. Aunts and Uncles: Jeff Blackwell, Kenny Stamey, Brad Stamey, Claudia Abbott, Randall & Sandy Gamble and Greg Blackwell all of Cleveland. Ginger Fuller of Valley AL, Lynn & Teresa Morris of Benton, TN, and Danny & Gail Webb of West Point, GA. Also special nephew Justin Bryant. Joshua is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral will be held Tuesday Aug. 23, 2011 at the Cleveland Cornerstone Church located at 533 Broad Street in Cleveland at 8PM with pastor Jimmy Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be on Wednesday Aug. 24, 2011 in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 1PM with Justin Bryant, Brad Stamey, Kenny Stamey, Kelly Bowers, David Anderson, and Wayne Keith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are James Standridge, Micheal Cochran, and William Dockery.
