Joseph Rymer

Joseph Dale Rymer, born on November 3, 1999, in Cleveland, TN, left us far too soon on February 25, 2025. Known for his vibrant spirit and friendly nature, Joseph was a cherished son, brother, friend, and member of the community. He touched the lives of everyone he met with his genuine warmth and energy.

Joseph had many passions that defined him. A big fan of 3D printing, puzzles, and games, he also excelled at chess, often challenging friends and family to a match. He found joy in working on the family poultry farm and was an active member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where he cherished the time spent at Vacation Bible School. His love for family shone through in everything he did, whether he was fishing, boating, playing basketball, or just hanging out with his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Bernice Rymer.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents: Sam and Cheryl Rymer; sister Victoria Miller (Brandon); and nephew to be born any day; maternal grandparents: Charles and Ruth Delaney and paternal grandfather Dale Rymer. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.

Joseph's family will receive friends from 2pm until 4pm on Saturday March 1st at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church located at 7619 Blue Springs Road, Cleveland, TN with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4pm with Pastor Steve Huff officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mt. Carmel Children's ministry.
