Joseph Lawson

Joseph Carson Lawson passed away peacefully at home on June 29th, 2024.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Gleaves Lawson Jr. and Thelma Westbrooke Lawson.

He is survived by two Daughters, Emily (Jeff) Robino, and Joy (Nate) Nelson; as well as his Girlfriend of 25 years Karen Yates; two Grandchildren Liam Robino, and Ali Nelson. Also, Joe is survived by two sisters, Ginger (Larry) Kemp, and Genee (Reg) Howell; as well as two nieces, Sandi Byrd and Haven Howell; one great nephew Noah Fernandez; and two cousins, Connie Winters and Darlene Barnes.

An avid drummer from the age of five, Joe also is survived by his fellow band members,

Kenny, Johnny, and Randy, of the Soul Survivors Classic Rock Rhythm and Blues Revue.

A Celebration of Joe's life will be held on July 11th, 2024, at Ooltewah United Methodist Church, 6131 Relocation Way, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363. Visitation will be at 5:30-6:30PM, with the service beginning at 6:30.
