Joseph Banther, 48 of Cleveland moved to his home in heaven on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Joe lived life to it's fullest every day and if he was your friend, you were truly blessed! He had a great sense of humor and was dearly loved. He will be missed by all who knew him! Joe had a passion for firearms and was an NRA certified firearms instructor and chief range safety officer.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Howard "Bud" Banther. Mother and Stepfather Henrietta "Rita" and Jack McNabb. Grandparents Velma Shelton "Mammie" Banther, Howard "H.T." Banther, Robert and Mary Ruth Smithey.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his best friend and the love of his life Tara Julian. Daughter, Nora Henley. Brother and Sister-in-law Marty and Michele McNabb. Niece, Mia McNabb. Father and Mother-in-law Frank and Jackie Julian, all of Cleveland. Brother-in-law Josh Julian and Nephews Luke Julian and Lee Julian of Taylorsville, NC. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
Joe's family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 7th, at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland. A celebration of Joe's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation with Jeff Evans and Greg Banther officiating.
Burial will be on Monday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN. Pallbearers will be Scotty Brown, Danny Lowman, Patrick Beach, Josh Stokes, Chuck Grey and Devaughn Tyler.
