Jon Michael Peterson

Jon Michael Peterson, 82, died August 6, 2022, in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 16, 1939, to Kenneth Verdine Peterson and Margaret McPhee Peterson.

Jon was committed to his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a longtime member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Zionsville, Indiana. He served in the Air Force Reserves.

Jon was a skilled communicator who never met a stranger. A true extrovert, he was warm, engaging and enjoyed many friendships. Accordingly, he was a top salesman and he retired from Magid Glove as a district sales manager in 2009 after 33 years of service.

He married Linda Heath on September 2,1962 and they had two children, Brian and Rodney. She preceded him in death in 2014.

Jon is survived by his children, Brian M. Peterson (Laura) of Cleveland, Tennessee and Rodney J. Peterson of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Samantha, Eric, and Jeannie; and siblings, Kenneth Peterson (Patricia), Linden, Michigan and Karen Peterson MacArthur, Midland, Michigan.

Interment took place in Zionsville, Indiana.
