Johnny L. Coleman

Johnny Coleman, 78, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, surrounded by his family. Johnny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His undeniable compassion and selflessness will be remembered by all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Luther Coleman and Rosella Gates Coleman, sister Bonnie Morgan, and nephew Tony Morgan.
Johnny leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons Johnathan Coleman (Jennifer) and Tom Coleman, one daughter Donna Coleman Stevens (Rob), grandchildren Sierra Hasty (Chase), Adison Coleman, Brady Coleman, Kaleigh Coleman, Rosemary Coleman, and Cheryl Wallace, two brothers Freddie Coleman (Naomi) and Bobby Coleman (Denise), two sisters Elizabeth Satterfield (Doug) and Faye Straight (Paul), Dustin Coleman (Ashley) along with several other nephews and nieces. Johnny is also survived by a special cousin who was like his brother Dana Burgner along with numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, August 30, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
A service celebrating his life is planned for Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Ray Cheatham officiating. The interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
