Johnny C. Hurst

Johnny C. Hurst, age 70, of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 18, 2021.
Born in Chattanooga, TN on April 21, 1951, Johnny was a son of the late Luke and Cecil Hurst. He proudly served in the United States Army. After his service, Johnny spent his time being a jack-of-all-trades, trying and excelling in many different jobs and skills over the years. He will be forever remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Abbott; grandchildren, David Johnny “DJ” Skalka and Chelsea “Taylor” Matheney (David); two great-granddaughters; friend and companion of many years, Carolyn Hurst, and many other family members and friends who were near and dear to him.
All services will be held privately.
