Johnnie Lou Earnest

Johnnie Lou Lee Earnest, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 29, 2018. She was born on May 15, 1934 to the late John Henry and Marie Burns. Johnnie was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Faith Memorial Church. Johnnie loved to get her hair done, eat pecan waffles and drink coffe, and she could carry on a conversation with anyone. She had a tremendous sense of humor and loved joking around and laughing with others. She loved to sing and listen to Jimmy Swaggert.

In addition to her mother and father she is preceeded in death by her husband and father of her children, William Edward “Sod” Lee and brother Bill Burns.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Sharon Head; son Terry Lee; stepson Randy Lee; grandchildren: Tanya Head, Monica Lee, Sheena Lee, Chandra Jones and husband Justin, and Nickie Castelow. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous great grandchildren, and extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Thursday February 1, 2018 at Faith Memorial Church located at 910 17th Street NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at the church on Friday February 2, 2018 at 2:00pm with Earl Moats officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
