John Wesley Kennedy

John Wesley Kennedy, 57, of Athens, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 25, 2022. John was born on November 4, 1964, to the late Charles W. Kennedy and Rinda Kennedy Lowery in Athens, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith, and he enjoyed Camping, and fishing. John retired after his career in the food service industry.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his life partner, Glenn Scofield; and his step father, Regan Lowery.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother Mike Kennedy; sister, Teresa Davis; three nephews, Michael Hall, Charlie Shell, and Kevin Kennedy; three great nieces; his pet, Jasmine Kennedy; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2022, at 11:00 am at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, Tennessee with Reverend Guinn Green officiating.
