John Raleigh (J.R) Hickman, 89, of Decatur, TN, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at his residence. He was employed for several years with Atlas Box Company and retired from Singer Cobble Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eula Mae Allen Hickman and Hubert Hickman; brother, Roy Lee Hickman; sister, Linda Hickman.
Survived by his wife, Mildred Hickman; son, John W.T. (Tim) Hickman; brothers, Benny and Edward Hickman; several nieces and nephews.
No visitation will be held at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Decatur Cemetery.
