John McCracken

John C. McCracken, 54, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. John was a lifetime resident of Cleveland, Tennessee. John worked at Lonza Chemicals (now Solenis) for 26 years. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing, going to the beach, and cheering on his beloved Tennessee Vols football team. John's favorite activity was spending time with his granddaughters, Hadley, and Sawyer.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifford, and Naomi Carden; his paternal grandfather, Hillard McCracken; aunt, Wanda McCracken; his father-in-law, Ben Kendrick; brother, Jason McCracken; and his mother, Judy McCracken.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 32 years, Kristi McCracken; his children, Courtney (Brandon) Dietrich, and Cody (Brandi) McCracken; granddaughters, Hadley Lauren Dietrich, and Sawyer Rae McCracken; his sister, Cathy McCracken; father, James McCracken; grandmother, June McCracken; and his nieces, Paige (Dylan) Debity, and Kelly Kendrick; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Central Church of Christ at 7:00 pm with Preacher Ryan Ary officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Tennessee Donor Services at https://tennesseedonor.org/get-involved/financial-contribution/ or Tennessee Children's Home food drive currently taking place at Central Church of Christ.
