John Joseph Potorski

John Joseph Potorski age 54 of Maryville, Tennessee passed away suddenly at his home on February 13, 2022.
John grew up in Bellingham, Massachusetts and attended Bellingham High School.
At the age of 18, John enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. John valued this service highly and attained the rank of Corporal. As part of this service, John was deployed during the Gulf War in Operation Desert Shield.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony Demsky and Sophie (Garbacevich) Demsky.
Left behind to cherish his memory are son, David Potorski (Amber) of Madisonville, granddaughters, Kinsley and Analeigh, former wife and mother of his son, Susan Everett of Madisonville, mother, Sonja “Sonny” Potorski of Maryville, Karen Potorski Caton (Ralph) of Massachusetts, loving aunt, Jean Frost and cousins, Storie Walsh, Novyl Igo, Rhuel Frost and Sonnet Consigli of Massachusetts.
A Military Funeral Honors ceremony will be held at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville on March 21st at 12:30pm.
