John Howard Cunnyngham

Obituary
John Howard Cunnyngham, 62, of Cleveland, TN passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 25, 2013. He was born on March 2, 1951 to the late Wiley and Freida Cunnyngham. He was a resident of Cleveland for the past 27 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a two year mission in Texas.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of forty years, Paula Cunnyngham, two children Chris Cunnyngham (Cindy), and Amanda Bundy, two brothers Gregg Cunnyngham (Carol) and Scott Cunnyngham (Michelle), six grandchildren: Garrett Cunnyngham, McKenzie Brown, Kendall Cunnyngham, Kylie Cunnyngham, Keria Bundy, and Morgan Bundy. In addition to these he leaves behind several other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday night in the parlor of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service from 6:00-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 4200 Pryor Road NE, Cleveland, TN 37312 on Saturday at 4:00PM. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, TN immediately following the service.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas PL Memphis, TN 38105 or the mission fund at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 4200 Pryor Road NE, Cleveland, TN 37312.
