John Francis Eshenbrenner, 82, of Cleveland, TN passed away on May 7, 2021. He was born on January 6, 1939 to the late Charles and Viola Eshenbrenner. John was a resident of the Cleveland area for more than 40 years. He was known for his auto body and mechanic skills, working in that field for many years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, going to church and being outdoors. He was a member and a deacon at Westwood Baptist Church. Most of all, he loved being with his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Eshenbrenner; brother Charles Eshenbrenner Jr., and sister Peg Ringle.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Wes Eshenbrenner (Alicia) and Mike Eshenbrenner; grandchildren: Emma Crowder, Madison Eshenbrenner, Chase Parris, Kate Tinker, Jill Shuler, and David Pendergrass; brothers Terry Eshenbrenner and Jim Eshenbrenner; and eight great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at 4:00pm on Monday May 10, 2021 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Monday prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the service.
