John Daniel Smith

John Daniel Smith, 38, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017. All that knew Daniel knew his great love for music, especially playing the guitar. He was also an avid Tennessee Vols fan. Daniel loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Leah King, and grandfathers, Winfred Cross and Harlen Smith.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Bobby Smith (Sherian); step-father, Robert Steve King; siblings, Leah Davis (Scott), Teresa Vice (Rodney), Rachel Turner (Danny), Mac King (Sara), Brad King (Karrie), and Angie Lynn; grandmothers, Velma Smith, Peggy Jo Cross, and Vaud King, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 26th, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.
A celebration of life service is planned for 10:00am on Friday January 27th, 2017, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Brad King officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the family to help cover funeral costs.
