John Alan "Johnny" Ray

Johnny Ray, 59 of Cleveland, departed this life on Friday, July 30, 2021. Born in Germany, he lived a majority of his life in Bradley County and was of the Church of God faith. He loved building, never met a stranger, loved everyone and spending time with his family and especially his grandkids.
Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, June Ray.
He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn(Jason)Arp; grandchildren, Avery, Emberlee, Brayleigh and Kylie; father, John C. Ray; sister, Debra Ray Neah(Cyrus); former wife and friend, Sharon Ray; and several extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for John Alan Ray will be held at 2p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Justice officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service.
