Joe Roy "Yogi" Zumstein

Joe Roy Zumstein “ Yogi”, age 63, gained his wings and went to his Heavenly Home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Zumstein; mother, Cora Headrick, father, Clarence Zumstein, brothers, Edward Ooten, Jack Ooten, LeeRoy Ooten, Tony Armes; and sister, Helen Bullen.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Zumstein and Justin Zumstein; sisters, Anna Lou Mohring, Lena Bunch, Ida Zumstein, Minnie Taylor, Marsha Byrge, and brother, Ray Zumstein. He also had a special life friend, Glenda Culbertson; and special friends, Hoyt Culbertson and Ziidee Baridor
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their compassionate and professional care.
Now Yogi is in Heaven, spending time with his family, working on older cars, fishing, and camping in the mountains.
A Celebration of Life and Home going from Joe Roy “Yogi” Zumstein will be held at 7:30PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 4:30PM until the funeral hour.
