Joe Ray

Joe Ray, 68 of Athens, TN, passed away at his residence on November 15, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Valerie; his parents, Jack and Betty Ray and brother Jimmy Ray.

Surviving is his son, Brent (Linda) Scarafone of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Sharon (R.H.) Lovin of Cleveland, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman. He particularly enjoyed camping with his favorite dog, Ralph. He brought laughter to everyone who knew him with his outgoing personality and boisterous sense of humor.

The family will be planning a private memorial service.
