Jo-Ann Barrow

Jo-Ann Barrow, 78, of Chattanooga TN passed away on January 13, 2018. She was born on September 3, 1939 to the late Henry and Mary Grimes. Jo-Ann was a lifelong resident of this area and she enjoyed reading and traveling. In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her son Carlos Cartwright; grandson Lee Duckett; brother Junior Grimes. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 48 years Billy Barrow; son Scott Barrow (Alicia); daughters Debbie Downs (Craig) and Sheila Price; brothers Charles Grimes; grandchildren Holly Barrow and Cole Cartwright. In addition to these, she leaves many extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at Lakewood Memorial Gardens East located at 4621 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411. The family will have a viewing for friends and family from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311
