Joan Fay Parker

Joan Fay Parker, 79, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 6, 2016. She was born on September 10, 1936 to the late Theodore and Pauline Gibson. She has been a lifelong resident of this area. Joan enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking, and painting. She was also an avid piano player and teacher.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Billy D. Parker; sons Tim Parker (Ann) and Barry Parker; sister Patty Gibson; grandchildren Sean Smeltzer (Stephanie), Ryan Smeltzer (Victoria), and Evan Smeltzer; great grandson Sam Smeltzer, and special friend Nancy Poteet.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday March 10, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home on Wednesday March 9, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
