Jimmy C. Baker, 85, of Cleveland, went to Heaven on July 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He served in the Army Reserve and was Traffic Manager for Olin Chemicals for thirty years. He also sold vinyl siding and built houses in his retirement years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alva Smith Baker, sisters Ruth Gross, Shirley Ash, Faye Newby, and Atha Nipper.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Nancy Deverell Baker, daughters Pam Baker and Wendy Baker Canida (Darryll) and the loves of his life, grandchildren Jimbo and Mary Beth Canida and her fiance’, Charlie Fletcher. He has one living sister, Flo McDaniel.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Companion Funeral Home on Sunday, July 30th at 5:00 pm.
Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00, prior to the service.
