Jimmie Od Hughes

Jimmie OD Hughes, 83, of Birchwood, TN passed away on April 25, 2016. He was born on April 12, 1933 to the late Jake and Maggie Hughes. Jimmie, also known as “Snake,” loved fishing and riding around. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by three brothers: James David Hughes, Jacob Hughes, and George Hughes; two sisters: Wilma Jean Hughes and Azalee Hughes. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Donna Hughes and three sisters Frances Newby, Sara Brown, and Bertie Fisher. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday April 28, 2016 at McInturff Cemetery.
